صحن چمن کو اپنی بہاروں پہ ناز تھا
(Sahn-e-chaman ko apni bahaaron pe naaz tha)

وہ آ گئے تو ساری بہاروں پہ چھا گئے
(Woh aa gaye to saari bahaaron pe chha gaye)

باغ مغل کی ہر گلی میں فسانہ زندگی ہے
(Bagh Mughal ki har gali mein fasaana zindagi hai)

باغ مغل کی ہر خوشبو محبت کی زبانی ہے
(Bagh Mughal ki har khushboo mohabbat ki zubaani hai)

Translation:

The garden courtyard was proud of its springs,

When they arrived, they overshadowed all the springs.

Every street of the Mughal garden is a tale of life,

Every fragrance in the Mughal garden speaks of love.
